What If...

Let us propose a situation for discussion based on the following scenario:

Let us minus the following countries from the earth:

USA, Russia, UK, France, Germany, Russia, China, Austrailia and India

With the remaining countries tell us who you think will be the remaining powers based on:

1. Most powerful overall
2. Best economic position
3. The number one enemies
4. The most powerful military
5. Most likely to succeed that does not succeed at present

NOTE: Please answer all five points and not merely one or two.

If those countries were removed, I believe the country that could fit each of those categories would be Japan. Here is where I would place everyone else in those 5 categories:

1. Most powerful overall - Japan because I believe they would have the best economy and the most powerful military
2. Best economic position - Japan again, followed by Canada and possibly Italy
3. The number one enemies - Israel, Iran and North Korea
4. The most powerful military - Japan, Italy and South Korea
5. Most likely to succeed that does not succeed at present - I'm not sure how to answer this. Does it mean that the country is not successful at all now, or not as successful because of the super powers listed already. I would say the Scandinavian countries, and most European countries would thrive with the absence of the super powers listed.
