Carbon monoxide poisoning is also known as the 'silent killer', purely because you can't see it, and you can't smell it. The silent invisible fumes take over the room that you're in without you even being aware of a problem--until it's too late.

There has recently been a case of a family dying whilst on holiday because the apartment they hired had a problem with carbon monoxide-it's so tragic that people trust their holiday accommodation to be safe, and holidays shouldn't end up in tragedy.

There are on sale carbon monoxide detector kits, but they're not very well promoted. In my opinion, the dangers and deterrents should be given far more publication to save future families facing tragic loss!
