Comments: Belmont used to be the sophisticated area of Port of Spain long ago but now its like the worst after Lavantile. There is a lot of crime and mosquitoes. Derelic houses, small streets an a lack of beautification has run down the area. There used to be really bad water problems but that has stabalized. The best part of Belmont is the proxmity to everything specially the Queen's Park Savannah.
