I have seen weeding cakes made out of cupcakes, Donuts and even crispy creme treats. I do not think I would mind a wedding pie or pies at all. I think it is a new concept and others may enjoy it. Sometimes having something different and unique can really make a wedding memorable.

We had wedding cake just because every one loves the shot of the new couple slicing the cake but we had loads of pies and Ice cream to boot. I catered it myself so it was very untraditional other than the cake.
