Oldest man in Congress loses re-election bid

Rep. Ralph Hall, the oldest man in Congress at 91, lost the GOP nomination in Texas to challenger John Ratcliffe. A former U.S. Attorney, 48-year-old Ratcliffe made Hall's 17 terms in the House an issue in the race. Ref. USAToday
