There is always WHY and it is hard to get the answer to that WHY too. I am sure if you asked some why they did something they would look you straight in the face and say they did not do it. The WHY is the least answered question. That is why we use the Who, What, Where, When and How to convict a person. Obviously he was guilty as he was convicted. IF he took the fall for someone else then he made that decision and will have to live with it. It all comes down to him being found guilty so he must pay for the crime. SInce this involved a helpless child then he should be helpless too. That is my opinion.

Maybe the judge was smoking pot at the time or maybe he likes people who abuse children.

No, this crime is even more repugnant to me than the other. I"d use this bastard as medical fodder with relish, also. Though I seriously doubt he"ll live long enough in prison to be used for anything other than tissue samples. As to my calling him a "boy" instead of a man; that's only because he's more than 30 years younger than I am. A fault of my own, anyone under 35 is a "boy" or "girl" to me.

My apparent infatuation with the "why" stems from a lifetime as an amateur psychologist. I read the original article, which was more complete than LDS Forever's quote. There was a definite absence of indication that this person had ever done anything of this nature before killing this helpless baby. That makes me curious.

Baby Assaulted Sexually Burned Tortured Man

Wow, I sat here for about ten minutes, trying to be literate and rational. The whole time thinking, well maybe he should be tagged a child molester upon release., maybe he could somehow contribute to society, but then I remembered that I would probably want him dead. So it makes no sense thinking about any of that.
The thing is, he's sick, this is a crime for fulfillment of a tragically sick urge in this human being, so justice is actually going to have the reponsibility of a parent sort of as well..
The crime needs justice for closure, the urge needs treatment to be dissolved.
So I guess tagging or wondering about contributions to society and all of that for this guy is just plain out of the question at this point, as well as is my urge to kill another human being.

The judge on this case makes me literally SICK! So because he was polite during the trial he deserves another chance after he raped, burn and beat an 11 months old baby to death? SICKENING!
