Yes America is out and that sucks but it wasn't because of one country- they were failing in many of their matches and when they had a chance to make the best of it they fell flat on their face.

Anyway I may throw my support behind Germany, the last champions but before I decide for sure I like to see how they play in the opening group stage.

Russia vs Saudia Arabia is the first match. Russia may win their group. They do not tend to get to the last 8 but they do show up for the games which is an accomplishment in itself. Right now their FIFA ranking is terrible.
