Unfortunately, the weapon barely scratches the surface of the hard
Gemstone, and knocks it away. It's not all that bad, as this knocked the stone at the side of the dark room.
This extends the time left to an additional round.
Basmet has an action, before Charles may act again. I'm sorry, but Feyra is completely taken over, unless she succeeds a will save (1/round, DC classified).
(For Felipe: Objects have two scores that help us determine whether or not they are damaged. Hardness, and HP. All damage dealt is reduced by the Hardness score, before actually damaging the HP. Objects like the sapphire have great hardness, making them near impossible to destroy by mundane means.)

The noise takes Basmet's attention. She quickly draws an arrow, but thinks better than to damage her companion in this place. She instead begins to sing a soft song, a Lullaby, also twisting her hands in a kind of magic ritual.
(Will save required, I think Felipe may have to as well, since the room is so small and it's a 10 foot radius burst)
Also, Bardic Knowledge: 8+5 = 13
(This means Feyra has to roll two will saves. The first one being the Lullaby spell.)
Bardic Knowledge results: If the myths and legends are true, then any mortal entering the burial site of a Pharaoh is subject to a terrible fate of madness and/or death!
This thought immediately strikes, and challenges Basmet's will to continue. Upon realizing the reality of the situation, on her next turn to act, she has to make a will save, or be frightened. Success indicates she's merely shaken. Thanks to her character backround, wherein is mentioned that...
Feyra struggles to get her body back, but she is not strong enough as she is lost in her own darkness unable to control her own body. Under all her confusion and stalemate before she is completely lost, all she can do is wish and pray out of her desperation as her mind starts to fade away.
"Where am I- someone... Save me..."
Will Save Check #1 : 4+1-1 = 4
Will Save Check #2 : 1 (Natural)

As Gordon picks up the stone, it's almost obvious he made a grave mistake!
His torchlight immediately goes off. Pitch-black darkness covers everything for a moment, before the eyes of the sarcophagus glow scarlet red, providing dim lighting for the entire room.
I would like to shortly remind y'all that the small corridor is accessible, but the door right before it was closed behind you. Refer to previous posts for clarification.
A deep voice can be heard from within the sarcophagus:
"Infidels! You have touched the Forbidden Treasure! Now, you will never again see the light.. Of day!"
The red light slowly dissipates, and in the darkness, all can hear the sarcophagus opening...
Feyra is no longer mind controlled.
