Via: "So far, and for completely different reasons, both are potential wielders of its awesome power! Your concern should be whether or not you accept to swear loyalty to the great God."

Cyrvil socked by Via's answer she raises her head as she says:
"W-What? W-We both passed? I-I am not going to d-die?"
And when she hears the question. With a voice somehow scared and relief.
"I-I am not going to lie now. W-What I wish is to keep wandering around this beautiful world. I-I don't mind to pledge on allegiance, obedience and eternal servitude to the Father of all Gods as long as I continue traveling. Just the fact that I am not dead, it's enough for me to dedicate my life to him. I am willing to serve him the Father of all Gods if that what's must to be done in order to succeed."
After a second of pause from her answer she says:
"All I want is that little piece of freedom. That's enough for me. That's the one of the main reasons I still keep living. Search and observe interesting things as enjoying this beautiful world."
"In addition, to be honest I am not really willing to get the power of the rod as Gordon does. He has tried so hard to get here. I respect him, I really do. However, if that's what the Fates desired, I shall follow them as I myself also desire in the condition that that little piece of freedom isn't taken from me."
"Very well! Cyrvil, you have the blessing of Zeus to guide and protect you now! As for you, Gordon, are you still determined to have the rod? The rod can stay here for the next claimer if you changed your mind, and you will be free to go, champion of Zeus!"
Gordon thinks carefully of what decision he thinks he have to make, after a short while he replies to Via "I am still determined to have the rod, I have come a long way to get here to prove myself worthy to the Father of the Gods of wielding the power of the scepter. And I am willing to dedicate myself to him and serve him for the rest of my life."
Kratos continues, almost repeating his last words:
"You have proven yourself worthy of the guidance and protection of Zeus. Cyrvil, your wish to withdraw from claiming the rod of thunder and lightning is a sign of someone with a great judging ability - a good sense of right and wrong.
As for you, Gordon; you have survived the challenges and even though all you comrades lie dead, you are here nearly intact and in one piece. You have been chosen by Zeus to be his champion. All you have to do now is repeat our words"¦ Don't just say them with your tongue, but feel them with your heart!"
Kratos and Via command Gordon to raise his sword up high in the air, and recite the following, making a pause at the end of each line, expecting Gordon to repeat:
"Father of the Gods, I call you.
My sword is by my side.
I seek a life of honor,
Free from all false pride.
I will crack the whip[*1],
With a bold mighty hail.
Cover me with death,
If I should ever fail.
Glory, majesty, unity.
Hail! Hail! Hail!"
