International Modeling - Bra Size / Breast Size
I'm no expert here, just bringing over information from our Modeling site. Most women are always concerned with breast size largely due to the 'standards' set by media. In this case does size really matter? For some it does while others don't care.
Depending on the kind of modeling you are interested in this may not be much of a concern. However, knowing your bra size will be an important measurement to report on your stats. Here is how to check it:
Finding out your bra size
1. First, take a regular cloth tape measure that reads in inches and measure the rib cage underneath the breast. Take a note of the measurement.
2. If measurement (1) above is an even number then add 4", if it is odd number then add 5" To the measurement. Examples:
If (1) is 35" Then add 5 and your bra size is 40".
If (1) is 34" Then add 4 and your bra size is 38".
Cup Size:
1. First, take the tape measure and with hands down on the side take the measurement from around your back to the fullest part of your breasts.
2. Take a note of the number and compare it with the measurement above.
Half inch difference = AA cup
One inch difference = A cup
Two inch difference = B cup
Three inch difference = C cup
Four inch difference = D cup
Five inch difference = DD or E cup
Six inch difference = F cup
Seven inch difference = G cup

Teen says 'size matters' billboard should go
A billboard for a plastic surgeon that uses coffee containers labeled "B" and "D" to show that the larger cup is better has riled a teenager enough for her to launch an online petition to have it taken down. The 15-year-old calls the sign "Backwards and misogynistic." Ref. Source 6b.
Women can be overly self-conscious thanks to a society that sensationalizes the breast size of women. This may be easier said than done but don't listen to them, just be you and run with what nature has given you. Someone who loves you will love you for you not the size of your chest.
Now that I've said my piece, bras have changed a lot with new improvements being made everyday. Don't be afraid to try new fits because your body is also changing and no two bras are the same.
