Tim Howard is being hailed as a football hero despite the USA's loss in the FIFA World Cup. He made a record 16 saves keeping the USA from a miserable loss to Belgium. In an interview on CNN the host praised Tim Howard for his work while roasting the US' strikers. Tim Howard was very humble about all of it. I smell some big contracts coming.

For me he did an excellent job. A goalkeeper should only be used as a last resort, the defenders are supposed to be keeping strikers at bay. If he has to stop the ball so many times that should tell you that the American defense sucks.
