Belgian women's team lose 50-1 - paper

Reuters - Belgian women's soccer team SK Berlaar had to stomach a 50-1 defeat against rival KV Mechelen on Saturday because their goalkeeper had opted to attend a music concert instead, a local newspaper said.

Queen of Belgium congratulates wrong player on scoring the winning goal against Russia

The King and Queen of Belgium attended their country's match against Russia at the Maracana on Sunday and they witnessed Divock Origi become the first teenager to score in a World Cup since Lionel Messi in 2006. Origi's 88th minute goal was the only one of the match and put Belgium in the knockout stage with two wins in as many matches. Ref. Source 9
