What Will The Future Be Like?
The UK Ministry of Defence Says Life in 2045 Will Be Unequal and Violent:
The major changes we can expect to see: an increase in population of three billion, scarcity of resources, increased vulnerability of overpopulated cities, and so forth. "Inequality will endure, and the world will remain fraught with conflict and complexity,". Ref. Source 6

I don't see it any differently either. I think that technology will begin to either unmask everything and cause populations to rebel or hide it so well that people become stupid with whatever is fed to them.
