Does God Punish Us While On Earth?

Do you believe God punish us here on Earth when we are not obedient to his commandments? If so, how do you think he punish us, in what way?

The way I see it and the way I think is when he withdraws his spirit he is punishing us.

The consequence of our choice is known when we make the choice.

Its God that allows the consequence (Justice) to happen.

I don't know see how they aren't the same thing. The only way for the consequence to be enforced is for God to do it or allow it to happen.

Also, not just the spirit withdraws but we don't get the given blessings we WOULD have received.

I'm sorry I don't mean to offend but It all depends on how we view our self and how we view our own moral standards. How High is ones view may prolong ones repentance.

2 others will do to you what you have done to others =lie, steal, commit adultery, ect.
3.when we are right the spirit is mighty and there will always be some opposition *more or less *
4. I forget get where it is 1in Gen *the Blessing giving to Abraham * and in D&c all blessings are predicated by obedience to the laws which they were predicated
5. There is always a testing period either by God or by Satan

No offense taken, it is definitely a person to person thing. Where I live I just do not see evidence of this in general. Maybe some individuals.
