Do you feel that Serotonin is one of the main keys in helping the stimulation of the brain in younger children with Autism?

Serotonin

From what I have read the easiest way to increase levels of serotonin in the brain is to deplete it through prolonged exercise. The reason for this is the prolonged exercise forces the brain to naturally produce more serotonin which in turn helps promote wellness of thought and in some cases a more calm attitude. I have long had this theory but every time I tried prolonged exercise with my son he complains of his feet hurting from the exercise.
