QUOTE A 21-year-old woman is due to appear in court this morning charged with two counts of s-xual assault against a 17-year-old schoolboy.
The unemployed woman of Teak Avenue, Claxton Bay was arrested at the weekend.
The teenager, who also lives in Claxton Bay, said he was sleeping over at a friend's house when he awoke to find the woman on top of him.
The incidents allegedly occurred between March 20 and April 4. Police said the teenager told his mother what happened and a report was made at the Couva Police Station.
The boy was medically examined by a doctor who confirmed that he had been assaulted, police said.

Yes under age (18) should be treated seriously. If she wanted him that bad mostly like he would have agreed if approached nicely. Unfortunately statutory rape is usually lower then age of consent.
In Ontario 16 for sexual activities 18 to vote 14 for a gun and 21 to own a house marriage is 18. The variance in the rules is baffling at best. I also think if under 18 the couple can be between 12 and 17. I thinking the used a random number generator.
