Seekintruth Introduction

Hello
I live in northeast Montana about 1 hour from the Montana North Dakota state line.
I am 44 years old. I am Native American Indian, Assiniboine to be exact. I live on a federal indian reservation. My family have been members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since my grandparents on both sides of my family, my mother and father also baptized members of the Church.
I was baptized at 8 years old. I served a mission to the Japan Osaka Mission between 1982 and 1984 when all missions were 18 months. After I returned home, I believe it was two maybe three months later, missions for single elders were made 24 months again.
Due to problems and other circumstances, I left the Church but after the announcement of the Billings Montana Temple and the ground-breaking of this temple, I felt the need to return to the Church, so I contacted the stake president at the time. I finally was re-admitted into the Church by baptism as of April 25, 2004.
The decision to return to the Church has been the best decision I have ever made in regards to my life.
This life is difficult but well worth the effort.
Hope to learn and understand more about the Church and the doctrine of the gospel and Church through participation in this forum.
