Autism & Private Parts

Autism & Private Parts

A child who discovers himself can become somewhat fascinated by private parts. Noticing that boys and girls have some thing different. This may be normal at some point as a child, but as we grow up it is considered to be something we should no longer be engrossed in as we have already discovered ourselves and now want to find new discoveries in the world. For an autistic child this may not be the case, especially where they have severe development delay. Have you ever had to deal with this? How did you help your child overcome this challenge?
