Food waste on 'staggering' scale
People are needlessly throwing away 3.6m tonnes of food each year in England and Wales, research suggests.

I'm not sure this is accurate either, seeing that food bills have gone up by an average of £800/$1600 a year this year alone!
Fuel has risen by 20% in the last 3 months....I really believe that most people can't afford to throw food away as the cost of living is so high!

This is like those people that want us to save energy (Al Gore) and then they have houses (Al Gore) that use more energy then most people's houses use in an entire year. Oh yes, lets make the little people sacrifice while we sit in our 4 million dollar homes and eat 8 course meals and condemn others for their waste.
