This is a very powerful statement. To know first hand what a USA military person is able to do on the battle field or in a area where they are in constant danger from terroristic attacks and then compare that to what the TSA is doing here in the USA. It shows just how much this government is willing to do in the name of "security". It is seriously disturbing. What happens when a pedophile goes to work for the TSA because there they will be able to fondle all the little kids they want and get paid for it by the USA government.
TSA ejects Oceanside man from airport for refusing security check
John Tyner won't be pheasant hunting in South Dakota with his father-in-law any time soon. The 31-year-old Oceanside resident was simultaneously thrown out of San Diego International Airport on Saturday morning for refusing to submit to a security check and threatened with a civil suit and $10,000 fine if he left. I think this whole incident can lead to some interesting situations. I think the more people balk at the s-xual assaults that the government is doing in the name of security things are just going to get worse. I do not see any publication or notice to passengers in any airport telling them that they are giving up many of their constitutional rights just because they wish to fly to a destination instead of driving to that destination. I wonder what would happen if people stopped flying because of the TSA overstepping their bounds.
TSA's Iron Fist
What's going on with the TSA? People understand the need for security at our airports, but lately they've been really pushing the limits of what the American public will tolerate. Three year old kids are getting thoroughly frisked. Where's the common sense? Glenn has who they SHOULD take advice from on radio today. Ref. Source 9
TSA to investigate body scan resister
The Transportation Security Administration has opened an investigation targeting John Tyner, the Oceanside man who left Lindbergh Field under duress on Saturday morning after refusing to undertake a full body scan. Ref. Source 8
I find the whole basis of the TSAs investigation to be very far fetched. To say it is illegal to enter the security check point and then leave without permission is stupid at the best. They feel that is how terrorists are going to watch them and figure out a way around it? I think they are sticking their collective heads up their collective behinds. If a terrorist wanted to check out the way the TSA is preforming their jobs they would go through the whole procedure many times until they had it down and find the weak points from there.
THis investigation is one of the most under handed things I have seen by the TSA and I think they are just going to make the general public not trust them more and more. The government of the USA needs to step into the TSA headquarters in Washington and seriously look at what they are doing.
"The Terrorists Have Won"
'Porno Scanner' Scandal Shows the Idiocy of America's Zero Risk Culture
By Richard Forno
The tragedy of 9/11 wasn't the attacks of that day, but what has happened to America in the years since. Which begs the question: who should we be afraid of, really -- "them" or "us?" Ref. Source 4
