Criminals Do The Strangest Things

Well, some people seem to do the strangest things. This woman decides to slap a police officer so she can quit her addiction to cigarettes while in jail.

international QUOTE
A woman was arrested after she slapped an officer across the face in an attempt to be arrested and jailed.

Etta Lopez, 31, of Sacramento, California took an extreme measure in an attempt to quit smoking, she got herself arrested.

According to Deputy Matt Campoy, who was slapped, her reasoning was that in jail she will be forced to be without cigarettes thereby helping her to "quit cold turkey." Source 1

Now that's original. I tried to quit smoking several times but always failed. This method maybe is more effective than the traditional nicotine chewing gums or band-aid.
