Mom Scratched Profanity Onto Son's Forehead Police Say Mom Told Police She, Son Were Just Playing KTLANEWS SELMA, Ind. -- A Delaware County woman was arrested after her 9-year-old son told police she held him down and used a crayon to scratch a derogatory word onto his forehead before sending him to school. Selma Elementary School officials called police on Tuesday when the fourth-grader showed up with the word "b**ch" written on his forehead, 6News' Rick Hightower reported. "When little kids at school came up asking him what happened to his forehead he became embarrassed and cried," said Delaware County investigator Nancy Marvin. "That made his face red. It stood out even more, which made it worse." The boy's mother -- Sherri A. Feuston, 30 -- when questioned about the incident, told police she was just playing around with her son. She said she sat on the boy's chest and wrote the word as they were roughhousing. Feuston's 11-year-old and 2-year-old daughters were also in the home at the time, police said. All three children have been placed in the care of family members, police said. Feuston was preliminarily charged with neglect of a dependent, battery and criminal confinement. She was held in the Delaware County jail on $20,000 bond. She is scheduled to be in court for a hearing on Monday. |

I think some of your Posts here are deserving of their own Threads as a lot of these news reports should be singled out like the one above that shows the continual stupidity of some parents in the rearing of their children. Then we all wonder why the fabric of society is failing and falling.

I do admit reading this post does bring a laugh once in a while and always makes me feel better about my life.
I think I will add this in and can post the news ad if one makes it.
Last night about 00:30 hours my wife and her workmate where cleaning a dealer ship. They hear some loud bangs and go to the side window to see a car clipping parked cars in the dealer ship lot.
There they see a guy driving into cars baking up and hitting the next. Thank goodness they had a company car not mine. They call 911 to report it and my wife takes down the plate. They give the plate number and she tells the operator the driver is drinking (She could see a wine bottle in his hand). The operator tells her she can not know that for sure!
The driver then proceeded to drive into the door cracking the glass and the car finally stalls out. The operator tells the my wife to go see if the guy is OK. Uhmm OK nice idea this is send a women out into a lot with a know aggressive man who has a wine bottle in his hand? This is our 911 operator at their best.
My wife replies no I think he is OK as he has just placed two wine glasses and a bottle of wine on the hood of his car and is urinating on his car. The police show up and he is sitting on the hood of his car drinking wine.
When asked what happened my wife gave her testimony and ended in saying that she was ticked as the operator asked her to leave the building and check on a drunkard driving a car. The police mans only reply to her was you can not say that as you do not know he is drunk!?
What the heck are we paying this guy for? My wife might be wrong but some one swigging from a bottle while driving into parked cars then a building and urinating on his car is not in the right state of mind and woudl be a good guess to say drunk. Yet our fearless police and 911 crew feels it is safe for a single woman to approach the guy to ensure he is safe?
Perhaps we need to go send our teen girls to the penitentiary to ensure the men are not lonely as well.
I only ponder who was the dumbest in the whole thing the guy driving the operator or the police?

Boise man believed to be involved in at least 15 burglaries - STATESMAN STAFF Boise police said a man they charged over the weekend with two counts of burglary has since been connected to at least 15 home burglaries over the last several months. Joshua M. Weigand, 31, of Boise is still charged with only the two counts of burglary. Detectives said more charges are likely and that the burglaries are still under investigation. Weigand was arrested Saturday after he called police, saying someone was following him in his car. Police also received calls saying two cars were driving recklessly in the area of Vista and Overland roads. But the man following Weigand, police said, was a neighbor of a 90-year-old woman who said she scared a burglar away from her home and called him for help. The neighbor pursued the burglar. Police said they found evidence linking Weigand to 15 home burglaries, largely in the neighborhoods around Overland, Orchard and Vista. Detectives also are working with other law enforcement agencies on burglaries in their areas. |

Couple Charged With Pointing Gun At School Bus A couple is under arrest after allegedly pointing a weapon at a bus load of children in Henrico County Monday afternoon. According to Police, 26-year-old Patricia Murray and her 36-year-old fiancee Brian Stephenson were driving behind an after-school activities bus when the children on the bus began making obscene gestures at the suspects' car. Police said Murray allegedly produced a gun and pointed it at the children, then handed the gun to Stephenson, who also allegedly pointed the weapon. Murray's 7-year-old daughter was on the bus. There were about 35 children on the bus, ranging in age from 5 to 10. The children were from Donahoe, Fair Oaks and Sandston Elementary Schools. Police were called after the bus arrived at the YMCA in Sandston. When Murray arrived to pick up her daughter, she was arrested. Police searched her car and found a gun. Stephenson was also taken into custody. Murray and Stephenson both are charged with pointing and brandishing a firearm, as well as child neglect. They both deny pointing the weapon.
