Kamla directly and without any reservations, challenged Keith Rowley in a one to one debate. We knew already that there was a set date of July 30th for a national debate but both parties agreed that anyone could participate in the debate but the Prime Minister is now challenging Rowley directly. People want to know about the debate and if it is going to come off. Rowley has taken the stance that it should be on the same date it was originally supposed to happen and if not he will not debate, but why?
So I got the call from Kamla to join in a conference call but could not get a question in. What's up with that? Also, I haven't seen any clear definitions given to voters on why any of the parties should win. They all say the same things over and over.
Surprisingly, some former executive members of the COP showed up at a PNM rally last night to show their support for the PNM hopeful Dr. Keith Rowley. One COP member said on TV6 News that they want to ensure that the present government is voted out and the only way to do that is to support the PNM. Thoughts?
I'm watching the TV6 coverage of the election. Its a close race but so far it seems that the UNC is winning. The most amazing thing is the VERY few votes that Jack Warner got. Maybe he will wake up to his situation now that he no longer has an elected voice.
