Sensory Processing Disorder - SPD
What are your thoughts about Sensory Processing Disorder or "SPD" For short? This has to do with the person (Child) having the incorrect reaction to something experienced through one of their senses. For instance, someone might be hurt after an accident and the SPD child may laugh at the event or at a person crying.
For what I heard and have seen with the child of my best friend, they're very sensitive to noises because their processing of sound is magnified. It is very sad to see how much they suffer when they hear sudden noises, I'm sure it feels like someone is throwing a bomb on them.
