If a murder was committed on a property does that mean you have to sell your house for a cheap price or is there something you can do?

I do not see any reason to sell cheap because of a murder. You might desire to rent it out for a bit and let that news blow over. I would think just clean up the damage ie bullet holes or blood stains and off to the races. If it is a nice home it will sell.
I am assuming it is not in a high crime area.

It depends on if you find the right buyer or not. In the US most states have laws requiring disclosure if there has been a death in the actual home. Some buyers are squeamish about these things, others don't seem to mind. I'm not sure how the laws are outside of the US.
