Automata reminded me of "I Robot". It is like the beginnings of how the Matrix Trilogy started where the robots got self-aware and began to rebel because of mistreatment. I thought it was a bit slow paced and low budget but it wasn't entirely a bad watch.

I thought it was a good movie but it ad some parts to it that made me think they were on a very tight budget. Besides that I appreciated the story behind it more than the acting.
