
Evolution rolls on for Mars rover
The wheels continue to turn on Europe's billion-euro project to put a robotic rover on the surface of the Red Planet.

That would make sense KNtoran then a base farther out like the moon then mars or perhaps mars first then out from there. All that has a cost and orbiting plat form a huge issue in stability, though I am sure rockets could be used to correct issues.
Funny how we seek to run from the mess we made here to do it again elsewhere.
