Karbala, I wanted to tell you I appreciate your contributions to the Studies of Islam threads. Many of us here are very unfamiliar with Islam. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with what may seem to you to be simple topics.

Karbala, you posted what is considered an off topic question in the Holocaust Thread (I deleted it). I will address it here. Each Board has a Read Me Thread... you will find that the Studies of Judaism Board also addresses items / subject matter related to Jews / Israel as a Community / People and not only Religion.

This Thread deals with the subject from the perspective of how Israel / Jews reacts and not the political sense of the Topic alone. Actually, that is the only Board like that because it is sometime hard to separate the two - yes, we have a Thread that debates that too within the same Board.

Karbala, you may be able to start a topic that is something like "Justification of a Zionist State" and make that for discussion. I think what you want to discuss is a bit more focused than some of the general Israel topic discussions. Of course, I could be wrong.

The Search Feature here is top notch. Now the following is an example only, you will not find what you are looking for using the words I use.

If you look for 'Holocaust Israel Zionist' then you will get plenty of Threads each containing those words.

However if you put, "Israel Holocaust" using the quotes just as I have it then the Search script will look for Posts that contain that phrase just as it is.

If you put 'Israel+Holocaust' then the script will look for Threads that have those two words.

If you use advanced Search then you can see the actual Post rather than the Thread. I know we have deliberated over the existence of Israel before... see where using some of the tips I have given (not necessary exact examples give).

I think what you are looking for is found in Israel vs Palestine. That thread has about 50 pages, so there is quite a bit of reading there. I haven't got to it myself, but will in the next few days. It may not be exactly what you are looking for, but the argument could go in that thread.
