Woman Leaves Baby With A Group Of Homeless Men
My goodness, how can someone do something like this? In most US states you can abandon a baby in a police station or fire station without any questions or charges!
I am glad the homeless men did the right thing and contacted the authorities.

| New London - Police arrested a Quaker Hill woman who they said abandoned a 2-month-old baby boy Friday evening. Police said Leslie Giliano, 41, of 3 Carolina Drive dropped off the baby with a group of homeless men on Bank Street. They called police, who had the child taken to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital where it was turned over to the custody of the state Department of Children and Families. Police said the child had no apparent injuries. |

Men Homeless Group With Baby Leaves Woman
at least she didn't leave it alone in a field in an old washing machine or something. Who can fathom the psychology of people who abandon their children? I've lived in a car for three days but I'd never abandon my son. That this happens in America is astounding with all the government and social services that are available. I've used a few of them, Welfare, Catholic Charities, local food banks, there's so much help here, you have to wonder what's wrong with this woman's mind that leaving her baby with a bunch of old stinky men was preferable to what she had the day before.
