Former Missouri Tigers defensive end and 2014 NFL draft entrant Michael Sam announced today in interviews with ESPN and The New York Times that he is gay.

Its sad that we have to live in a world where people feel pressured to say what their sexual preferences are, this should not matter once you perform well in whatever task you're given be it sports or otherwise. Even so congratulations to Michael Sam for taking a brave stance.
