Comments: I was rather surprise to read that local police were requesting a bounty payment in order to go after a criminal on this island bearing in mind the responsibilities and duty of all police officers.

If this is the new trend in police attitudes towards their role as protectors of our citizens, then the crime situation will definitely get worse.

This shows that some police officers are jumping on the bandwagon of greed which could in the end also lead to an enhancement of local corruption within the nation and police system.
