Comments: The discovery by auditors revealing a that $1billion was illegally siphoned from Angostura as dividend to CL Financial is only the tip of the financial iceberg here that is plaguing this nation. It would appear that almost everyone in a position of authority on this island is dabbling in corruption until they are caught. It all amounts to a lack of proper accountability and transparency something that has always been promised but never really instated. Its the same old story promises,promises, that are never fulfilled, thus leaving a loophole for the swindlers to ploy their trade.It would now appear that corruption like murders and other crimes have now become part of our culture which is been encouraged and accepted here.
