The California state Assembly has approved a bill that would legalize assisted suicide with virtually no limits. The bill now has to move the bill through the Senate by Friday and after that can go to Governor Brown. The legislation passed by a vote of 42-33. Ref. Source 8b

California Governor Jerry Brown signed a dangerous bill today to make the state the 4th to legalize assisted suicide, following Oregon, Washington and Vermont.
