Very controversial arguments going on over this at the moment. Basically, this footballer was found guilty of rape and served time in prison.. He however still claims his innocence, and I believe that he claims it was consensual. Oldham Athletics want to sign him but their sponsors have been pulling out from financially supporting the club, so they have now withdrawn their offer to Ched Evans.
The problem here though, is regardless of whether you think he was guilty or not, he has served his punishment .. People are split as to whether he should be allowed to play, or whether he should be continued to be punished, don't think this one is going to be resolved easily!
