Three die in Afghan Koran protest

Two civilians and a Nato soldier are killed in a protest in Afghanistan over the shooting of a Koran by a US soldier in Iraq.

Koran Shooting

I believe the soldier or soldiers who did this act were not thinking very clearly when they did it. They should also have taken the koran with them and buried it or burned it so they would not be leaving evidence laying around. ALl this could have been avoided if some soldier would have thought for a bit and not done this.

KNtoran, I'm sure I am misunderstanding you. But are you saying the shooting of perhaps the most sacred of objects to muslims is ok as long as the soldiers got rid of the evidence?

I am saying I do not care who shoots what. If your a iraqi and want to shoot up the bible then by all means do it. But if your gonna do something like that because you feel it is something fun to do then get rid of the evidence.

No matter where you come from or who you are there are certain things, objects that if you piss on them, shoot them, blow them up or even burn them your going to cause a outcry in certain other parts of the world. It is these religious or
symbolic items that can cause people to fight each other. I believe some people are mental enough to see what they can get by with knowing that it will cause a outcry.

I believe some people are doing things like this just to keep tensions high. I do not agree with them and to not condone any of it. I would rather see everyone get along and work together on more important things. We as humans have shown ourselves just how good we are at killing each other. Now lets take that energy and direct it to getting us off this rock and into space so we can populate the stars
