I am not asking if you believe in Ghosts, that is covered in the Paranormal Board, I am asking if you would buy a house that people within the area claimed was haunted?

No, I wouldn't intentionally buy a house that had the reputation of being haunted if I was given prior knowledge to the fact.

I have lived in a haunted house in the past for 15 years, but if I'd known this before buying it, then I would have looked elsewhere for a different property.

It depends on several things:

1. Is the house a give away?
2. Is it in a good area, or is it a culmination of things giving it's reputation?
3. In what way is it haunted? Is it that there are just appearances or did people mysteriously die there and so forth?

If the haunted house was cheap, in good condition, had an indoor pool, and had a large backyard with a ten-foot stone fence to mark the property boundaries, then I would definitely buy the haunted house without any hesitation.

I will love to own a haunted home. Knowing its mine and that its haunted I could gain the help of the spirits there to keep intruders out. People always look at misunderstood things from a negative but this is a positive one.
