WASHINGTON - Close your eyes, reach into your wallet and try to distinguish between a $1 bill and a $5 bill. Impossible? It's also discriminatory, a federal appeals court says.

It makes god sense to put Braille or some identifier on the bill so that all people can complete transaction with the knowledge that they are not being cheated.
It is the courts jurisdiction to decide that guide line need to be placed to ensure a fair and safe market place for all peoples. I hope all nations change their currency to let the blind function easier in a business transaction.
Actually the us currency has different textures thus making a different feel for each bill. If you spend some time feeling each bill a person with eyesight can learn to tell the differnce between the bills. This is why it is hard to short change the blind. They know the differnt feel of the US money.
