Obama Supports 'Right' For Ground Zero Mosque

Weighing his words carefully on a fiery political issue, President Obama said Saturday that Muslims have the right to build a mosque near the site of the Sept. 11 attacks in New York, but he did not say whether he believes it is a good idea to do so. He was expanding on his Friday night speech asserting that Muslims have the same right to freedom of religion as everyone else in America.

Mosque Ground Right Supports Obama
I agree with some of what he has said. IT is one of the founding principles of this nation to have the freedom of religion. There fore we should not be telling them when and where they can build a religious site if they have the money to buy a certain property. I would want more clarification as to the fact that they turned down their original plans to build this Mosque elsewhere. IF that is true why did they change their minds?
