I am sure the California Government will be glad to have this built. It should ease the burden on their system every summer and help reduce brown outs. It is in places like this solar panels are viable now if we can develop storage for electricity maybe we could put a real damper on the overloaded transmission and distributions systems in this and other states/provinces in North America

They must be spending a lot on lights to put in this kind of investment. Strange that more tech giants have not turned to this kind of power source.

I think the reason most do not look at this technology is the long payback. Most often it is 15 years and in todays business it seems investments that have a payback of more then five years is pass up on. Most business are expected to last seven years on average due to technology changes.
