Each drawn matchup is played over two legs, home and away.
Italian and Spanish teams have always done well.
Liverpool FC has one of the best British records in the competition.
Manchester United, Barcelona and Milan are favorites.

It is a stunning competition, with the highest prize for any domestic club.
But is the running only confined to the same clubs every year - only those that can afford the talent?

I was watching the British and Moscow police go through exercises for mobs and wayward fans. They mean business and the Moscow police are known to not mix matters, so I hope every behaves themselves.

Besides that, I feel it will be a Manchester United victory.

Manchester United lift the European Cup!
It was a good close final, undecided even after extra time.
John Terry failed to score his penalty after an unlucky slip on the wet turf.
Edwin Van Desar was a hero Goalkeeper for United, but winning after a shoot out is a little disappointing after such a well balanced contest. Ronaldo's headed goal was well placed, and Frank Lamard's equalizer was a well taken opportunity.
