I found a web page that talks about most of the missed signs about autism. For instance during an assessment or evaluation you may not be asked if this happens:
QUOTE
Sideways glances - child looks from the sides of his eyes, usually moving his/her head as he/she is doing it.
Pushing forehead along the floor (With buttock in the air). This, in my opinion, is a sign of neurological distress.

Very interesting information. I like to read what parents of children with autism have to say more than doctors and therapists who merely observe. I will be looking into his comments more.
