This is disgusting. When I was reading the article I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt until the article stated the following:

Now, I think it can be very possible that he did it and if there was enough evidence to condemn him then he must pay for what he has done.

One of the reasons he left the UK for vietnam, was that we have a 'Sex Offenders' List that is a 'Watch' list and the police know who on the list is where in the country.

As he was convicted of child pornography Gary glitter was on this list and watched by the authorities.

He moved to vietnam as it is common knowledge that this kind of behavior is, if not accepted, then not really criminalised over there, so with that in mind the acts must have been exstremely obscene for him to be sentenced to that sort of term imprisonment.

I'm my view he deserves everything he get's over there, and good riddance to bad rubbish.

I agree totally with Karniest's points,and also, Gary Glitter obviously hasn't changed his ways, but instead seems to have steadily progressed from one crime of viewing pornographic material, to actually carrying out sex acts against minors.

I think he will get quite a shock in the Vietnamese prison, I don't think he will find it quite as 'cushy' as a British prison, I think that his crime is heinous, and he needs to realize the life long detramental effect that he will have caused these young girls.
