Federal drug agents have built the nation's largest wiretapping operation in the Los Angeles suburbs, secretly intercepting tens of thousands of Americans' phone calls and text messages to monitor drug traffickers across the United States. The wiretaps, authorized by a single county judge in Riverside, Calif., have intercepted more than 2 million conversations involving 44,000 people despite objections from Justice Department lawyers who fear the practice may not be legal. I do not understand people who start doing meth. It does horrible things to your body. If you don't die from it it or go to prison who wants to look 60 when you are only 30? I like having teeth. Apparently a lot of people don't feel the need for them.

I think it's the normal "This will never happen to me" outlook that some people have. They see what happens to other people, but they think they can handle it where others can't. That's usually where a lot of poor decisions come from. Some are poorer than others… or perhaps a better way to say it is some carry much more severe consequences.

I am sure those that turn to drugs look for their next high. The fact that they will tell you that they can stop any time is a lie in of itself. You have a lot of people go for the cheap thrill and before they know it they are hooked on the stuff. It is sad that some real nice people end up hooked on drugs and waste their youth and life away as the drugs ravage their bodies. I would hope that more states like California can find a way to help those who are hooked get off the drugs.
