Germanwings CEO: Plane went into 8-minute descent before crashing

Thomas Winkelmann tells reporters that Flight 9525 went into a long descent before crashing following takeoff from Barcelona Airport. He also said the pilot of the Airbus A320 aircraft had more than 10 years' experience working for Germanwings. The plane was carrying 150 passengers and crew, including two babies. Ref. USAToday

One of the pilots was locked out, they have to find out why. I've never heard of this airline before I guess it only flies out of Europe but it will be watched with some apprehension from now on.

No one should blame the airline for what happened. The German laws need to change to make a person's psychological health be known to the employer. At present it is kept quiet which it should, but not when you're flying a plane!
