Utah New help for autism
Because, pretty soon, Utah will have a public high school specifically designed to address the educational and social needs of children with autism and Asperger syndrome. "I was so elated when I heard the news, I literally jumped up and down," Hartog said. "The difference between specialized and mainstream education is night and day for my kid." Ref. Source 6
Fantastic news for Utah! I'm very happy for the people there. One, because the school will be public and parents who do not have the cash to send their kids to the expensive special needs schools will be able to have a chance and also because we know autistic children are completely different to any other special needs kids, there are kids who can handle a regular school and others who need one on one, specialized education just like the one offered at this school.
The only drawback is that these type of schools (very unique) because of the huge demand and the fact that they're public, use a lottery system if you want your child to be part of it.

Great news for Utah, and I'm sure will be very well received in the area!
It's so important to get the right education for Autistic children, as so many mainstream schools just can't cope with them.. So pleased that this great facility will help so many children with their specific needs!
