Comments: The death(Slaughter) of police constable Anson Benjamin is an awful occurrence and the lost of another innocent and useful citizens. I send my condolences to his family. However the question is what is the government doing to stop the perpetual rampage by our local killers?. Well apparently nothing .They have clearly given the impression except by offering lip service, that they are quite prepared to wait and see if the killing subsides. In the meantime our citizens will continue living in fear of their lives whilst politicians and those of status here remain protected by our police, security services, gated communities and bullet proof cars.

Sympathies go out to Anson Benjamin's family and friends. I saw part of the eulogy and it would appear that Anson Benjamin came from humble beginnings and fought his way out of it through active police service. Cases like this bring up several debatable points:

* Compensation for the family
* How brazen bandits are
* Why it is so important for police to have sufficient backup and protection
* The speed in which a case like this will be solved.
