Trinidad & Tobago vs Nepal

While I'm all for bringing relief for people in distress, is it really necessary for Trinidad & Tobago to give US$150,000 (Approximately TT$937,000) to the International Federation of the Red Cross? When there are children here in distress everyday? The culture of Trinidad & Tobago is based on death being a reason to start to help, it should not come to that.
