PARENTS CLAIM RELIGIOUS EXEMPTIONS TO AVOID VACCINATING CHILDREN
Sabrina Rahim doesn't practice any particular faith, but she had no problem signing a letter declaring that because of her deeply held religious beliefs, her 4-year-old son should be exempt from the vaccinations required to enter preschool.

It's a difficult one especially a parents wishes versus the states. The problem as I see it is that there have been so many rumours relating vaccinations to Autism, that it has frightened many parents and you can tell where the vaccinations haven't been carried out, as clusters of illnesses break out and develop into epidemics!
My cousins children in the 70's who are Jehovah witnesses declined their children having the vaccinations due to religious reasons, and I can remember that the authoritys went ahead and vaccinated the kids and told them not to tell their parents! The parents discovered the needle puncture marks at bath time, and they were outraged, leading to months of arguments and consultations between the health department and the parents.
I would hope that in this day and age this would not happen.
What the answer is I don't know, but it certainly seems wrong for parents to feel the only option out is to lie and state religious beliefs that they don't really have!
Drug companies donated millions to California lawmakers before vaccine debate:
