Things You Could Change About The Matrix Trilogy

If there was something you could change about the Matrix trilogy what would it be? Maybe something you did not like or something that could have been done differently.

The absolutely first thing I would change would be to give the people defending Zion armor and auto-loading guns, so we wouldn't have the ridiculous premise of people in open, exposed exoskeletons shooting rapid-fire at an enemy they now is devastating in close ranges and attacks in floods. That this armor is resupplied by kids rolling out drums of ammo is silly. You want to make the fight look like the humans have developed some means to try to fight back, like multiple EMP charges, armored bunkers, more combat vehicles (Even if they look cobbled-together but massive, that would fit the theme here). The fight in Revolutions just killed my disbelief. This is only the first thing I would change.

Good points about auto loading. What I think they were trying to prompt was Zion had what it had because of the machineworld and did not have the means to create anything else or anything new. As far as change I thought the Oracle could of had more input into the whole thing there is so much not explained especially in the last movie which I felt was rushed.

They left the pre-Matrix era for the Animeatrix, I felt it wasn't enough. I would have liked to see some part of it dedicated to the Neos before Mr. Anderson.
