The Watcher from the Aether says... Drethen steps forward to attack the nearest undead to him. The first creature he attacks is a zombie and he cuts it down quickly. His second attack against a nearby skeleton bounces harmlessly off of its old bones. In its counter attack, the skeleton manages to get by Drethen's shield and scrap his arm with its rusty short sword (1hp dam).
Jess, seeing the skeleton strike, lets loose with two arrows and, with a lucky shot, shatters the skeleton's skull dropping it to the ground.
Drethen finds that the number of undead is overwhelming and he's not able to keep all of them from clearing the stones as they continue to work on removing the blockage.

The Dawn Seeker says... Jonathon sighs, putting away his blade and deciding to try a different idea first that may be more effective. He lights a torch and with a warning to the party saying, "Stay clear," he begin trying to light the skeletons and zombies on fire while trying to stay just outside the door.

The Arcane says...Seeing the flaming brand comes closer Ardo takes 1 more swing at the undead, then steps back readying his holy symbol to turn them if needed.
Ardo Results:
- Attack on D20 (+0): 19 (1 roll + explode)
- Damage on D4 (+1): 4 (1 roll)

The Watcher from the Aether says... As the skeletons move up to attack Drethen, Ardo and Jonathon team up on one to take it down while Drethen is able to destroy another with his sword.
Jess fires two arrows from a short distance while Delgar continues to keep watch for anything approaching from behind.
The skeletons attacking Drethen are unable to do any damage. However, the other skeletons working on clearing the blockage are able to succeed in getting the doors to close. As the doors pivot on their hinges and slide shut, they push Drethen out of the cave.
The party, once again, is standing outside in front of the stone doors.

The Dawn Seeker says... After considering the now closed door for a moment Jonathon would say, "Well, maybe we need something a bit more then what we have. If there was a way we could raze the lot of them."
He would think on such, actually considering the idea of getting a bottle of wine with a bit of cloth to light up the room with fire. There was also the idea of getting their weapons blessed by a priest. Maybe even hiring a priest to help get past this challenge.
